Emergency First Aid at Work Courses

 

The Emergency First Aid at Work is a one-day course designed to equip staff with the skills to respond to common workplace emergencies, such as unconsciousness, choking, bleeding, or shock. 

Emergency First Aid at Work certificates are valid for three years and must be renewed to remain compliant with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

This training ensures that appointed first aiders are able to provide immediate and effective EMERGENCY FIRST AID in the workplace when an incident occurs.

If a certificate expires, there is a 28-day period in which an Emergency First Aid at Work Requalification course can still be completed. During this time, the individual must not be counted as a workplace first aider. If this period is exceeded, a full Emergency First Aid at Work course will be required to regain first aider status.

This 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work Course is designed for first aiders who are working in small or low-risk working environments. It is also suitable for those individuals wanting to renew their CPR certification or those looking to book a 1-day first aid course, that covers several life-saving first aid techniques, including CPR and the safe use of an AED machine. If you work with children up to 18 years old, you will require a Paediatric First Aid Course.
