Who is this course for?
This qualification is ideal for:

Early years staff with a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification who need paediatric first aid to be counted in the staff-to-child ratios under EYFS

Registered childminders and childminding assistants who must hold a full paediatric first aid certificate to meet statutory guidance

Newly qualified staff (Level 2 or Level 3) who started in an early years role on or after 30 June 2016 – they must complete full PFA or EPFA within three months of beginning work

Anyone involved with children outside of a professional role, such as parents, grandparents, carers, foster carers, and volunteers who want essential paediatric first aid skills
Course Overview
Across the 2-day course, learners build confidence and practical ability to deal with a wide range of first aid situations involving infants and children. Training is hands-on, supportive, and delivered in clear, simple steps.
