Annual Refresher/Updates

Annual First Aid Update courses are short refresher sessions designed to help qualified first aiders maintain confidence, practise essential skills, and stay up to date with current first aid guidance between full qualifications.

They are recommended by the HSE as good practice but do not replace a valid First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.

These updates help employers demonstrate ongoing commitment to first aid provision, reduce skill fade over time, and support first aiders in remaining confident and effective in their role.
